All of a sudden it feels a whole lot like summer around here, which is kinda crazy because it was so cold on Friday that we had a fire going in the fireplace. But this weekend things definitely changed:

Luckily our house stays quite cool inside (so far) and work tomorrow will of course be nice and air conditioned. The evenings are still just about perfect — we went out for a nice walk last night and it couldn’t have been better.

This morning (before it got hot), we checked out another of the Santa Clara County parks, this time trying out Calero County Park. While mostly aimed at boaters and horseback riders, there were some lovely (if hilly) hiking trails, well populated with wild flowers and huge wild turkeys. It’d be fun to go back one day for a trail ride.

Here are some photos of the turkeys:

I finally got some of the photos from the weekend posted on Flickr. I haven’t had time yet to edit them much or add tags, but here they are. I’ll try to pick a few favorites and post them here tonight.

The order got a bit scrambled, but there should be ones from the Rehearsal Dinner Friday night at Sammy’s, brunch with Dad/Jane/Brian/Karen on Saturday, and then photos from the Saturday night wedding.

Happy birthday today to Shachar’s Mom!

Happy birthday to Carrie!
