Art a la Carte

Congrats to the folks who pulled off a fantastic Art a la Carte event today (despite the rain and some people avoiding events because of flu fears). There was face painting, marble art, musical shakers, scratch art, bookmarks, painting, kazoos, Japanese fish, African necklaces, cricket rocks, Chinese lanterns, and postcards for kids in Japan. Shown here is the fabulous Kidstool, one of the giant mushroom art pieces to be displayed around downtown — each kid who attended helped to add to the mosaic of tiles and toys that covered it. Congrats to Valerie, Amy and Karen for such a successful event! This is a really great Morgan Hill tradition and I’m so glad they were able to keep it going!

Lots more photos from the event.
