Chocolatespoon: Emily’s Musings

Posted on: June 30, 2007

The bookmobile is stopping by the closed MH library a couple times a week to fill in until the new building opens (July 21!) so we went over there first thing this morning to see if Amytha was on duty since I don’t think I had seen her since last Halloween!

And then we’re going to be good for the rest of the day and I’ll try to finish up grading papers and handing out grades for the first session of my blog class (not something I’m looking forward to — I wish everyone would have completed all the assignments so that I could give out all fantastic grades).  And yes, I’m blogging as a perfectly good procrastination method…

One of my favorite books I ever read was Christopher Morley’s “Parnassus on Wheels” (and the companion Haunted Bookshop) as described on Amazon an unforgettably weird classic tale of adventure on a traveling bookstore called Parnassus, drawn by a steed called Pegasus …

Always made me want to drive a bookmobile …
