On Feb. 19, Carrie Giddins will start as the communications director for the Iowa Democratic Party. Giddins is the former deputy communications director at EMILY’s List and no stranger to the state of Iowa. In 2004, she served as the deputy communications director in Iowa for John Kerry’s presidential campaign.
